Save the “Lighthouse”We would like to ask that demolishing the tower on Beesely’s Point be reconsidered, and instead perhaps paint it, and leave it as a “lighthouse” for the new development. We have grown up with such fond memories of this tower as a beacon of being “almost home”, or “almost to the shore,” our children search for it when coming home, and we do too. We have grown up with this skyline, and it enhances our sunset pictures and identifies our area. Boaters also use this tower for navigation. Please preserve this potentially beautiful iconic symbol of our area!
