The fact that Trump is still considered a viable candidate tells you all you need to know about the cockeyed craziness that is the American culture in 2023. Guns are an integral part of that craziness. There is a deep commitment toward arming oneself agsinst perceived enemies, and an "us vs them" attitude. The far right media and the GOP feed this mass delusion, and stand firm on the misunderstood second amendment. In the meantime, Americans continue to shoot each other. This is the land of the free?
