People forget that then President Bill Clinton signed the bipartisan "Don't Ask Don't Tell" because he and the bill's supporters at the time believed sexual matters should remain private. Democrats went from supporting this effort to using drag queens as military recruiting tool. The bottom line is we want the strongest people to serve in our military. Sexual orientation should never matter. Bending over backwards to accommodate a small fraction of the population.
