Where was the property owner’s association when the out of control spending was occurring over the last few years. Now they have written a letter to the council asking for an audit which is a great idea. What is needed is a letter with the number of owners who request a more transparently run town. If Public Works director wants to take on 2 jobs let him and compensate him accordingly. Also let him choose a competent and qualified assistant. Have twice yearly reviews of their performance.
