In an article the CFO stated that Sea Isle entered 2023 with a record-high budget surplus of about $8 million, a figure that reflects the city’s strong financial position. In the budget of 2023 didn’t we use half of that surplus to keep a 0 increase? Wonder if that happened due to being an election year and they thought they weren’t running unopposed?
