Sea Isle City

Council should take heed to the fire company's drill on a recent Wednesday night, and all of the fire trucks lined up in front of their city hall, all tasked with a drill to potentially save just one home because of their inadequate water supply. There was at 15 fire trucks and numerous other vehicles. I spoke to a firefighter who stated that the water out of a hydrant on 2nd street is only 100 gallons per minute, and that a single small fire hose flows in excess of 150 gallons per minute. This is downright scary. What do we pay the water and sewer bill for? Substandard water supply?
