Saw a newspaper article dealing with Philly speak. Born & raised in Philly. Lived there for 62 yrs. They insist that people in Philly say Wooder for Water. Don't know anyone who said Wooder for Water. Everybody I know says Waughter. Rhymes with daughter. I agree we say, Jeet? No Joo? My Army buddies from down south couldn't believe it when I said, Youse guys tawk funny. Anybody want to add to this for a few laughs?
