As a Commissioner, Desiderio is talking about cutting jobs to keep the budget down. As Mayor he says that Sea Isles revenues in parking, beach tag sales and construction code fees are major sources. Do those fees even cover the cost of those departments salaries of the departments? Why cut county jobs to reduce spending when you don’t do it in your city?
