In 2021, Cape May County was one of six to declare themselves 2nd Amendment Sanctuaries. I guess that that the residents hated that NJ ranks among 5 states with lowest gun death rates, has a sparse mass shooting history and independent analysis shows states with the Nation's lowest rates of overall gun death due to strong gun violence prevention laws. I am sorry but my family and I have the Constitutional Right not to have to live in fear of being shot every time we leave the house get in the car or go to school. That is why we live in New Jersey and not Florida or Texas.
