DT residents are looking at a massive tax hike due to a 30% loss of state funding. Did we lose funding because of our horrendous state report cards? DT scored amongst the lowest in CMC and this was before COVID. Are we penalized for miniscule class size? A ratio of 10 students to one teacher is absurd. Is it due to way above average administrative costs? Too much time spent on frivolous activities instead of instruction during the school day? What is the reason? Please change course as the taxpayers and our kids deserve better.
