More and more homeless are frequenting the emergency room at the local hospital. The population is growing and thankfully there is places for them to go for warming and food. I was a patient one night and the lobby smelled like a gym locker room. When the warming shelter isn't open, where can they go? At this point should the community look into a rescue mission? Will that attract even more homeless? It's horrible to see people that do not have basics such as food, water and shelter. I don't think our community has the means to help them any more than we are. What is the solution?
