Good news from our planning board. They are working with the State and Feds to build another bridge to exit and enter our town. The Glenwood Ave bridge is our only way to exit in floods and other extreme hazards. Plans are in the works for an alternate bridge from the end of 26th street west crossing over the canal to Lake Ave at the bay. Makes sense and is a long time coming. Plus, it will take away a lot of the traffic coming over the present bridge on Glenwood Ave. Short cut to the stores and Acme also. Good luck with this project and hope to use it soon.
