Now that the U.S. House is in Republican control, they are intent on conducting an inquiry into the F.B.I. and Security Agencies. Speaker McCarthy has said "Let me be very clear: We will use the power of the purse and the power of the subpoena to get the job done." The question that arises is this: Is this the same subpoena power that Republican Representatives McCarthy and Jim Jordan refused to comply with when they were subpoenaed?
