Whether or not the lab leak theory turns out to be correct, the main point to take away is that the government colluded with social media companies to suppress information that they didn't like. They didn't suppress it because it wasn't plausible. They suppressed it because they didn't like the message. In other words, they suppressed the theory for political reasons in the same way that they suppressed other information that was out there about the disease itself, the effectiveness of the vaccines in stopping transmission, etc.
