In today's society, I heard an expression from a friend of mine that makes so much sense. I have never owned a gun and am 34 years old, single mom and doing ok in my field. I work sometimes through the night and my shifts can get crazy especially in the spring and summer when tourism is in play. I now own a hand gun! Have been to the range, taught by some great folks how to shoot and "When to shoot"! I go to a local club and shoot weekly. The thing I learned is this; It's better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it!
