In response to your front page news on Fare Free-Perhaps the county should try and hire qualified individuals that actually know something about the positions in which they are hired for as Directors, instead of friends of friends political hires. The County is riddled with unqualified Heads of departments. A lot of Department Heads come from other state/county/municipal positions already retired with nice pensions. Why not give a younger, more qualified individual a chance at a decent salary and benefits package. That's the million-dollar question! Guessing it's who you know...
