I moved my family to lower township. I watched sec 8 housing and the expansion of public transportation destroy my home town. My entire extended family has fled Baltimore County as a direct result of the increases in crime and filth that come with "low-income housing". Beyond wanting to protect our suburbs, moving the poor away from urban centers hurts them as well.
