I agree with my fellow resident that we need to create a permanent remembrance to Jerry Blavat. DJs symbolize the music that keeps many of us going in difficult times. Whenever there was trouble, we could turn on the radio and Jerry would make us feel good and forget our troubles. I say a monument to Jerry using open space county funding would be appropriate.
