I’m all for hiring teachers starting at $60K as long as they are highly qualified and strive to earn higher degrees during their tenure. Also, administrators need to set standards much higher! We need educators that are of high quality. Teachers that are hired based on experience such as Technical school teachers must be required to go through teaching programs instead of alternative to be equal to teachers who went through teaching programs and earned credentials and degrees! In addition, taxpayers need much more input! Teachers forget that they work for the community and taxpayers!!
