Please stop praising some of these restaurants for giving out food to food banks and soup kitchens... I've done the inventory before it is given away at some restaurants. Owners are changing the dates of expired meats and cheeses, before it is "wasted" so they can get the tax deductions on their end. I've seen dates pushed back up to 6 months when it was given away. It only looks to be about 2 months before expiration when its actually up to 8 months.
