To the commentor who couldn’t “name some…bad guys” that the US has armed, saying “I am not able to bring any to mind at the moment”, let me help: 1) Moammar Gadhafi; the US trained the Libyan military and sold them arms, 2) Iran; remember Iran-Contra? Reagan sold arms to Iran through Israel even though we had Iran on the State sponsored terrorism list, 3) Osama Bin Laden; before he waged war on the US, he waged war on the USSR, and we were all too eager to help him and his opium lords with recruiting and money.
