To the Villas spouter singing the praises of Donald Trump. To say his only flaw is that he is brash is quite funny. The truth is that he told us who he was from the very beginning of his rise to power. We just weren’t listening. We overlooked his lying. We overlooked his alleged criminal activities. We justified his “embracing” of white supremacy groups. We watched while he refused to participate in the peaceful transfer of power, and we bought into his claims of voter fraud. We understand who he is, but we didn’t care. We lost friends over him. Now, we have a chance to denounce him and move on.
