To the spouter who wants to criticize the current Commissioner of Public Safety for having two “jobs,” let us be clear – he volunteers his time on the beach and is involved to understand what the beach patrol needs to keep all of citizens and visitors safe during the summer months. How else can one assess the needs without actually being involved? With all due respect, we finally have an involved Commissioner of Public Safety. Wouldn’t it be great if all commissioners were as involved with their job ?
