I couldn’t believe my own eyes. Our once bipartisan champion of the political middle ,Jeff Van Drew was standing shoulder to shoulder with Marjorie Taylor Greene, Louie Gohmert, and other far right wing partisans at a press conference outside the Capitol. Am I supposed to believe after 20 plus years in elected office he all of a sudden changed his positions? I’ve always defended him, but it seems like his critics who said he only believes in what is best for his re-election prospects were right. How else can he explain voting against positions he held for decades?
