I have a great idea. Instead of enforcing existing laws with bicycles and pedestrians in Cape May, why not lower the speed limit for additional revenue. It worked on Stone Harbor Blvd. All the other towns will learn quickly, like Sea Isle City on Landis Avenue. While we’re at it, we can raise the occupancy tax on our yearly visitors. And we can install additional parking meters in Stone Harbor, or raise the prices like Wildwood. Hmm, I see a pattern here. It’s about safety. No, it’s really about money. How else can we soak our citizens?
