To retired Lieutenant Colonel. 9 years ago coming down parkway at night saw UFO over marsh between Parkway and WW Crest just South of Rio Grande. Just below clouds lit by lights from Rio Grande. 1000-2000 feet up. Flying wing like YB49 but no visible means of propulsion. Plain symmetric boomerang shape. Huge like 747. Pulled to side of road rolled down window. Zero ground speed. Zero sound. Hanging there like it was on strings. 5 white lights on each leading edge with one yellow at tip of nose. No markings. Looked man made, not alien. I said to my wife "I just hope it's one of ours". Was it?
