I'd like to point out the total failure of our police departments chief for this horrible weekend of the "unsanctuoned" car event. They knew they were coming and were unprepared. All I can think about is that video of our $225k a year police chief waiving an American flag on stage at the country music event. He should have been standing on the Ruo Grande Ave Bridge this past Friday waiving a white flag indicating the surrender of the police dept under his leadership. Maybe if we give him another $25k a year. Isn't it time for him to retire and go take a county job.
