Despite the load of [ahem!] that is posted on a lot of Twitter feeds, some Twitter feeds are a great place to look for news updates while sparing yourself from commercials and misleading repetition. Try Googling “[your favorite news channel] Twitter”. That should take you right to it. At some point Twitter might ask you to download their app, but you can avoid giving them personal info. Try also looking at some news outlets that you don’t usually use.
