A Cape May Point Spouter who refers to "gun nuts" has the shoe on the wrong foot. "Gun nuts" are those who make it as easy as possible for the "bad guys" to get guns, by opposing every effort to keep guns out of the hands of those "bad guys". Gun nuts figuratively put guns in the hands of those who committed the most recent atrocity, as well as other mass shootings.
