Pending legislation to block online access to opioids is spot on. Last year 100,000 Americans died from drug overdose. But S.3399 and H.R. 6352 have a major flaw. They eliminate access to unlawfully dispensed opioids from non-certified tier 3 non-US online pharmacies, but do not distinguish between them and highly credentialed tier 2 non-US online pharmacies that sell non-addictive drugs to treat conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Tell your congressperson and U.S. senators not to vote for S.3399 and H.R. 6352, which have the support of big pharma, as currently written.
