Now that the world is fracturing, and countries are taking sides against each other, and elevating hostilities, the whole idea of globalization is falling apart. We knew quite a while ago that Russia had unstable leadership long before Putin came into power, and we also knew that China was a communist country, and would do what they want without consequence.. Serious mistakes were made in the early 90’s with NAFTA, and offshoring manufacturing to China. The money saved on cheap goods might now have to be spent on war and lives instead. A Faustian bargain at best.
