Plastic had created some serious disposal problems. But, unfortunately I fear that too many people don’t have a clue about life without plastic. Members of the ‘Greatest Generation’ ushered in a plastic friendly world that their parents could never imagine. Plastic is lighter, cleaner and more durable than almost anything that came before it. As I child, my vaccinations weren’t delivered by disposable plastic syringes, but rather big steel and glass syringes used and autoclaved hundreds of times. Life without plastic is more than just bringing a little tote bag to the super market.
