Seems like Upper Township is joining the rest of the county and sub-contracting out their EMS. Bid package will supposedly be going out soon. Lots of secret meetings going on behind closed doors.
Moderator's Note: "This is a rumor," stated Upper Township Mayor Curtis Corson, in a March 10 email. "There has not been any discussion of this by the Township Committee. Our rescue squad is funded in our 2022 budget. They do a great job for our township. We would never get the service we have now from a private company. I fully support our rescue squad."
