Time to settle this "Shoobie" stuff. "Shoobies" are day-trippers who do little to support the town. In the olden days they came down on the train bringing their food in shoeboxes so they wouldn't have to spend any money here. Today they drive down with WaWa bags or whatever, take up parking spaces and spend as little as possible aside from beach tags. The folks who stay in the hotels/inns, eat in the restaurants, and/or go shopping are "Guests". Those who own property are not shoobies since they pay taxes thus supporting the town. If the true shoobies stopped coming we wouldn't miss them much.
