Cape May County

Spouter from Sea Isle city makes an excellent point about how beach replenishment is not contained. The spouter is absolutely right about how inshore waterways get choked with sand. I have owned property in Avalon Manor near the south channel for more than 30 years. And every year we lose more more water by the boat docks. Different things contribute but I always thought that it is the replenished sand that ends up getting pushed west because it is not contained. Then the state or whoever says they will dredge and then assess property owners even though they created the problem to begin with.
