Cape May touts itself as a Coast Guard City, but it seems Sheehan and Meier have no problem saying that people who are not from here shouldn’t be on boards and committees. A request has been sent to Coast Guard HQ on behalf of Cape May CG veterans for a review of the qualifications associated with being designated a Coast Guard City. We didn’t grow up here, but we have just as much right to claim this city as our own. Same on both Sheehan and Meier.
