Nominations to the Supreme Court should be based on qualifications. Any suggestion of appointing an associate justice to the highest court in the United States based on gender or race qualifications is discrimination, pure and simple. All positions, regardless of place in society should be based on the qualifications specific to the job not gender, race, heritage or other points that further complicate issues of race and discrimination.
