Public, private school teachers and parents have got to do a much better job with educating our children on finances: How to save money and invest for early retirement. Instead, I've noticed people who spend way too much on items like new cars and trucks, which will make it a guarantee that you will forever be broke. Purchasing expensive items on credit will keep you forever broke. I retired at the age of 42 and did so because I started my investment journey at the age of 17. I have friends who have reitred at 32, and 35 respectively. We as a society must do better.
