Since there’s been some spouts about voter ID laws, it’s worth pointing out that states can and should devise means to ensure “election integrity” without requiring much at all from the voters. If states cannot prove the existence of fraud then the onus should be on them. Photograph each voter at polling places, require signed affidavits, etc. Plenty of ways to root out fraud without the risk of disenfranchisement.
