When did the “ME” generation take an ugly turn to the “JUST ME” society? Those who oppose masks often cite that it does nothing to protect “ME”. Well, it’s been stated from the start that “YOUR” mask protects others, but, if it doesn’t protect “YOU”, you just don’t seem care, apparently. Anything that cuts down on the transmission of the disease is worthwhile doing for the common good, but “ME” seems to be the only pronoun some people are interested in anymore. I shudder to think what the response of the American people would be today if they were asked to really sacrifice, like WWII.
