Conservatives argue that the federal government has a compelling interest to protect lives and can therefore restrict abortion rights. Conservatives also argue laws requiring ID are not intrusive or restrictive. Yet conservatives oppose vaccine mandates and requirements to show proof of vaccinations even though their own logic supports it.
