The passing of Bob Dole is sad news. He was the kind of politician who could work with others for the common good…..the betterment of us as a country. Unfortunately, we have been shown the exact opposite of those qualities the last several years and now it is becoming the “normal” to be crass and crude and not be kind to anyone. Our government would function much more efficiently if personal agendas could be put aside and these new politicians knew the importance of working together. Enough of the nastiness. Our children are suffering and will continue to do so because of this behavior.
