Sea Isle City mystery?? , why is Townsend Inlet eroding,.? Very simple answer,they keep pumping sand onto beaches thinking they are smarter than Mother Nature and God..Sand gets pumped onto beach,sand gets pushed by strong currents into inlets and the strong current eats away at beach sand in inlets..Just keep pumping sand on your beach and watch the problem get worse.When politicians and so called engineers think they are smarter than Mother Nature and God, the results are not very good and there is hell to pay
