Texas picked up two new Congressional seats due to the 2020 census. Good for them. The problem is that 95% of that population gain was due to “non-White” new citizens. So, what do Republicans do? They gerrymander new voting districts reducing Hispanic majority districts from 8 down to 7, and they eliminated the only Black majority district in its’ entirety. All the while increasing Trump voter majority districts. Bad on them!
