Went right to Google after seeing the police salaries. The head of the Philadelphia PD makes about $280K and she oversees 6,300 officers. Yet the powers that be think our chief is worth $219K for overseeing 55 officers??? It's way out of line with other towns and it went up 26% in 2 years? Middle Twp. and Ocean City are busier year round and their year round populations are much larger. And the chief thinks he deserves that much? He's making out like a bandit and he'll be set for life when he retires.
