It’s time the businesses getting rich off Cape May pay their fair share and help pay for services in town. I know you pay taxes etc but Cape May is now driven by the business community and regular residents are the minority. Maybe a luxury tax or something similar. The starting pay for firefighters is absurd and this could be a way to fund the services or offset costs so they are not the responsibility of the average taxpayer just trying to pay bills.
