The beach isn’t important in Stone Harbor. Maybe having a new lifeguard building is, but I don’t think that maintaining the beach and beach entrances are a priority. Have you seen the disrepair of the steps and the lack of accessible ramps at the end of most streets. Maybe when they get hit with a few lawsuits for unsafe and dangerous steps, they will replace them. Watching people try to maneuver their beach gear up those steep, splintered steps with small children is unbelievably cumbersome. Maybe, have the beach taggers help families since they don’t have anything to do.
