Why is the Cape May councilman still on council after he pled guilty to charges that he stalked an ex-girlfriend and violated a court order after repeatedly denying all the allegations? Council voted 3-0 to remove him from committees and boards but did not offer a vote to remove him from council. I didn't vote for him, but for the people who did, he is a disgrace to our town and should not be part of our governing body.
Moderator's Note: Cape May City Council does not have the power to remove an elected official. They took the only action open to them, which was to remove his committee and commission assignments.
