Is it just me, or could the borough of Stone Harbor properly utilize the bird sanctuary? There have not been birds in the preserve for over 15 years due to a rampant overpopulation of wild cats. Why don’t the town leaders consider redoing the preserve or repurposing the land into a more accessible nature trail. Please provide alternative ideas as well! It seems much more practical than spending two million dollars on a hangout for the lifeguards.
