Could someone who has lived or owned property in Stone Harbor for the last 30 years explain the old town. I have owned property since 1989 and have watched the town move with the times. Big houses are the thing of today and tomorrow. As to arrogance I think there were plenty of self absorbed people along the way. The so called locals referred to non resident home owners and vacationers as “shoobies.” Talk about arrogance!
